The location of this country house is absolutely stunning, surrounded by mountains and beautiful scenery. We enjoyed exploring the nearby whiskey and gin distilleries, as well as the wine tasting options. Another advantage was the availability of activities like mountain biking and hiking trails, allowing us to stay active during our stay.
We had been impressed by the complimentary selection of drinks available throughout the day, so it seemed unnecessary to be charged for them during dinner. It would have been more convenient to simply access the fridges nearby.

We stayed in this small and private hotel and felt at home. the rooms had everything we needed and there was unlimited water and complimentary drinks in the fridge. the breakfast had lots of choices and even included bubbles. the complimentary snack during the day was a nice touch. the set dinner in the evening was superb. the hotel also provided free wine tasting at the nearby Doolhof estate. There were trails around the wineries and a river track, perfect for exploring. If you enjoy mountain biking, the hotel can provide bikes. the staff made us feel like it was a home away from home.
Felt at home here, no complaints.
